Bring on the fun at the Arapahoe County Fair!

Arapahoe County is excited for the return of the 118th annual Arapahoe County Fair, Thursday, July 25 - Sunday, July 28, 2024. The Fair is a community tradition that showcases the County’s  agricultural and Western heritage through 4-H programming, traditional agricultural and educational activities, and lots of entertainment.  

 

Tickets are $25 and kids under 36 inches tall get in free. Tickets include event parking, unlimited carnival rides, CPRA rodeos, fireworks (weather and fire  restrictions permitting), live entertainment, NSPA truck & tractor pulls, Canine Stars Stunt Dog Show, mutton bustin’, public competitions, Top Hogs pig racing, line dancing lessons, petting farm, 4-H livestock shows, Kids Corral and numerous other activities.  Food, beverages and vendors will be on hand throughout the Fairgrounds.  

 

“We are so excited to continue the tradition of the Arapahoe County Fair dating back to 1906,” said Commissioner Carrie Warren-Gully. “We’ve added new attractions  and events that are sure to be a hit with everyone in the family. The Fair is the best deal in town for wholesome family fun.” 

 

Pours on the Plains—the County’s special ticketed craft brew festival at the Fair for ages 21 and over—will take place on Friday, July 26 from 6:30-9:30  p.m. This event features 15+ local breweries and a live band. Pours on the Plains is a separate ticketed event and does not include general Fair admission.  

 

Important traffic information:  South Harvest Road will be closed in both directions from July 25-28, to address safety and traffic management during the Fair. Motorists should use South Gun Club Road or East Belleview Avenue as alternative routes into the neighborhood and East Quincy Avenue  or South Powhaton Road to access the Fair entrance.
