When Macaroni Kid Aurora was asked to do a review article of Peatos we had no idea what Peatos was because the Kindred family has never heard of them until this point. We were interested in trying it out because they are an up and coming snack in the US that is made with good things, not to mention Gluten Free for this is a double win for us.
We first got to try the Peatos at a meet and greet with the owners. What an amazing experience to hear from the owners why they created this snack, what they are made of and how they wanted to make Peatos a household name for snacks. The two flavors that they have in stores now is Cheese and Fiery Hot, however, if you shop on Amazon you can get Marsala and Chili Cheese (the Marsala is AMAZING!). These snacks are crunchy and tasty.
Over a couple of months, we got to spread the Peatos snack all over the Aurora area, to get the community to try this new snack. We did Back to School nights where kids wanted snack bags for their lunches, Fall events, a VIP event, and Trunk or Treats! As we share this snack in the community families truly enjoyed this snack knowing it was a healthy option for their kids.
