I have heard the phrase "what a difference a week makes" so many times in the past few days that I have lost count. I will admit it is with good reason that people are saying this. Last week at this time I was pretty much stuck in my house dreading taking the kids to school the next day and here I am now in my spring skirt enjoying the weather.

But a week can make quite a difference in more than just the weather. It can make a huge difference in your attitude and your situation as well. I am definitely a person that likes things to be resolved quickly. I like the quick solution, immediately solved problems, texts answered within a few minutes (which is horrible of me since I am infamous for taking forever to return a text).

This week was definitely a test for me because we had a situation that just lasted ALL WEEK LONG. Pretty literally all week long. I have always been convinced that if you have a bad Monday you may as well stick your head in the sand and just deal with the punches as they come as best as you can and just wait for the week to be over. While I didn't necessarily get the EXACT resolution I wanted, I think I probably got the resolution I needed-whether I want to admit it right now or not. And the beauty of the rough week was that I got to see what wonderful, beautiful, kind, generous and loving people I have in my life. I have more of them than I ever even guessed. I learned to take a minute and just let it be. Because when the storm settles and the snow finally melts so the flowers can shine through again, your perspective may be much different than it was a mere week ago.

Have a great week!
