Turkey Table Decorations

Macaroni Made

I don't know what it is about Thanksgiving, but I love everything about it. My family has many traditions that day, and it is pretty much a kick-off to the Christmas season for us. My mom decided to take my kiddo's last weekend to make some cute little turkeys for the dinner table this year, and they are absolutely perfect! Not to mention that, but super simple so no matter how many people you will be having over you can make the perfect table setting!

Materials:
  • Red and Yellow felt (they sell sheets at a craft or hobby store)
  • Walnuts
  • Hazelnuts
  • Wooden ice cream spoons (or craft sticks)
  • Small googly eyes
  • Felt or glitter leaves
  • Hot glue gun

Directions:
  1. Cut the red felt into small u-shaped bibs (don't cut out the center, just make it like an oval with the top part cut off.)
  2. Cut the yellow felt in a small wiggle line to resemble a wobble.
  3. Glue the Hazelnut on top of the Walnut. The hazelnut should be on the top of the walnut on the more narrow end. The bottom of the hazelnut, where there is a round and lighter circle, should face forward.
  4. Glue the U-shaped yellow felt on the bottom of the hazelnut.
  5. Glue the red wobble over the yellow felt.
  6. Glue the google eyes above the wobble.
  7. Glue three leaves together so that they are overlapping.
  8. Glue the three leaves to the back of the walnut.
  9. Glue the turkey onto the wooden stick

If you put names at the table, you can simply write these on the stick or simply place one at each place. It will make a wonderfully cute topic of conversation!
