The city of Aurora’s newest recreation center, Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, officially opened on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse, located at 25400 E. Alexander Drive, is home to first-of-its-kind features in Aurora, voted on by the community, and brings recreation and fitness fun to a growing sector of the city.
Highlights of the center include a 23,200 square-foot fieldhouse, a 1/9 mile elevated track with grade changes, a state-of-the-art fitness area with hard-to-beat mountain views, a gymnasium and an aquatics area, including an indoor pool, a waterslide, hot tub, and lazy river. From sports and fitness to fun and relaxation, Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse has something for everyone!
Join the city of Aurora in celebrating our newest recreation center at the grand opening from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24. There will be treats, giveaways, free tours and demonstrations!
Southeast Recreation Center and Fieldhouse will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
