Sometimes we just need a getaway with family to recharge and reboot. Over Thanksgiving break, The Kindred family was able to do just that. We drove up to Estes Park and stayed at Murphy's Resort which is a family-owned place.
This rustic resort, makes you feel you are at a home away from home. The room we had, accommodated our family of five and had a little kitchenette. Let's not forget the cute fireplace, which made the room a little cozier.

Waking up in the mountains to the beautiful view and enjoying the mountain air was just what we needed. Murphy's Resort offers a free Grab and Go Breakfast in the morning. Get the day started to go hiking or walk through town and enjoy the shops.

One thing we did not use while we were there was their DVD collection, games, or outdoor activities. I definitely, need to go back to check out all the things we missed. Next time, we will be prepared to enjoy all the extras.
