The Gaylord Hotel and resort has just taken it to a whole new level. They have magnified this time of year by 100x to create an amazing interactive experience of the Holidays for all!

If you checked out all the activities, shows and events that the Gaylord has you may feel a little overwhelmed and how the heck am I going to squeeze it all into a day. First off it is totally possible, you will spend over 9 hours at the Gaylord you and the kids will be exhausted.

There is always an alternative you can do a little of this and a little of that, without overdoing it, while still having a blast.

The Rudolph’s Holly Jolly Breakfast is a great event to start the day off for all ages. Rudolph roams around while you enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, made-to-order omelette bar and an over the top dessert bar.

Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Traditions- Mrs. Claus and her elf helper, have a story time in Mrs. Claus living room. This is geared toward the younger crowd, as Mrs. Claus reads a favorite story you enjoy a cookie and some milk. There will for sure be some signing and games.

ICE! Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer, is an Ice Sculpture extravaganza, it is a series of rooms that tells the original story of Rudolph using over 2 billion pounds of ice. It’s colorful, chilly and artful as the story is being told.  This is definitely for those that are a Rudolph fan!

Ice Skating, Tubing and Bumper Cars on Ice- This is outside the hotel, so check the weather to determine how to dress for these outdoor activities.  These events are designed for school age kids as they have to be 38” in height and a minimum of 5 years old.  The old kids definitely had fun with these activities. (Make sure to do the bundle pricing on these activities it will help keep the cost down.

All the lights, these are a must see around the hotel.  Out by the outdoor activities, there is a light bath that takes you to a field of lights.  Grab a cup of Hot Chocolate and enjoy the field of lights. It is breathtaking!
