Halloween is definitely one of my favorite Holidays. It has definitely changed over the years as being the one who dresses up and runs around the neighborhood to collect candy, to picking out costumes with my kid’s and chasing them through the neighborhood as they collect candy. When I was little my parents rarely bought costumes from the store, they were either made by using a pattern or we put together using items around the house. This was the fun part, as I got older the costumes became more elaborate and scary. Now with my kiddos, rarely do they want to make their own costume. Store bought and the latest Disney character or Super Hero is what my kids want to do. This is still fun, because they transform into the person they are currently looking up too. We still enjoy going around the neighborhood as a family collecting candy and chatting with the neighbors. Although things have changed, this is still a fun Holiday to enjoy with family!
