Here is a family favorite at the Kindred House, that we would love to share with our readers.
Pitkin County Pork Chops
2 T - Butter
1/2 c - Chopped Onion
2-3 Cloves Garlic Minced
1 t - Salt
1/4 c - Prepared Mustard
1/4 t - Cayenne Pepper
2 T - Cider Vinegar
2 T - Packed Brown Sugar
2 T - Worchestershire Sauce
6 - Pork Chops ( 1 1/2" Thick)
3/4 c - Ketchup
1/2 c - Chili Sauce
1/3 c - Water
In small bowl combine first 9 ingredients. Spread paste over pork chops. Place in a baking dish and broil close to heat for 5 minutes. Remove from broiler. In small bowl combine last 3 ingredients. Pour over pork chops. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour (depends on thickness of pork chops) or until tender. Put over noodles and serve!
