So needless to say, multi-vitamins are very important in our house. Neither of my kids usually enjoys the vitamins (most often one will "kind of" like one brand while the other one absolutely does not) so finding one that they won't fight me on taking was important.
Obviously there is not a vitamin on the market that is as yummy as chocolate (wouldn't that be nice, though?), but I will say that Smarty Pants Vitamins are pretty good. Both of my kids actually AGREE that they like this brand (yay for Costco memberships where I can buy it in bulk!) and my daughter enjoys them enough that I don't have to remind her to take her vitamins. Which means I don't have to remind my son either since she is a little mini-me that automatically brings him his portion when she takes hers.
My absolute favorite thing about the SmartyPants Vitamins is that the company makes a one-for-one matching nutrient grant for every bottle sold. One grant provides a child in need with life changing vitamin A supplementation for a full year. SmartyPants is reaching high with a goal of 10 million grants by 2018. Of course there are plenty of other things to love about SmartyPants:
- Omega 3 DHA (gotta keep those brains healthy)
- Vitamin D for strong bones
- B12 to help maintain mental focus and good energy.
- Certified organic
- Free of all synthetic colors, GMOs, artificial flavors and preservatives.
In addition to Costco, you can find SmartyPants Vitamins on their website, Facebook, and Twitter.
I was provided complimentary SmartyPants products as well as compensation for this review. All opinions are my own.
