I am so sad tonight. I brought home the costume magazine from Party City for my children to go through, and for the first time they didn't care one bit what my opinion was. I told my son about the cool television I was one year, and the dice my sister was (although these days the good old cardboard box wouldn't work for a television, it would have to be more of a flat screen.) No, those were too "babyish" apparently. And my idea for eggs and bacon and salt and pepper and whatever else to have my cute little matching kids-like they used to be when they were the kitty and puppy so many years ago-were scoffed at. I guess I should just be happy my kids are still excited to be planning their costumes and aren't planning on egging any houses. My favorite three months of the year are almost here! Pull out the pumpkin scented candles!
Have a WONDERFUL week, and get out the measuring tape...those cute costumes look awful short!
