Wow...it has apparently been an extremely long time since I have driven in traffic because I certainly don't remember it being that bad. I spent five days last week driving to and from downtown to take my kiddo to firefighter camp, and I wasn't even doing it during rush hour. But somehow I managed to find every stalled car, at least one accident a day (including the horrible on on 6th Ave), and serious construction. Not only was my frustration level high, but my leg actually hurt (okay, maybe I could do some more walking or something :) ). I have to give a HUGE props to those of you that take this drive daily. You are amazing to have any sort of patience when you get home!
Firefighter camp was a huge success and I definitely recommend that you check it out! For those five days my daughter and I found multiple things to do while my son was in camp, and we also had a chance to go to a few other places as a family. You can check out my favorites and tips on all these places in the article "Must-Visit Places This Summer!"
