Welcome to Aurora Macaroni Kid!

A note from the publisher

By Vicki Little October 10, 2012
I had that wonderful "beginning of Fall" comfort moment last week. I was cuddled up in bed with the covers up to my neck when my sweet daughter snuck into the bed for some morning snuggles. I glanced at the clock and realized that I had an hour left to doze back off and then I heard the gentle swoosh of the heater kicking on...followed by the "first time of the season" heater smell. I love that smell. Call me crazy. I know it is nothing more than a summer's worth of dust sitting there, at least I think (I haven't really gotten into the science behind the smell, that is just what I assume). And then we woke up and got ready and headed to school, and my feet crunched in the colorful leaves as we walked through an overhang of beautiful colors. I love Fall. Unfortunately, the snow word keeps coming up more and more in the newscast. Seeming as I am going to be visiting Vail soon, I am thinking I may be seeing more than I want sooner than I expected!

With Halloween around the corner, there are plenty of crafts and activities to do and events to attend!
