Welcome to Aurora Macaroni Kid!

It has been like watching a slow-motion grueling maze of dominoes. With each thump (you really have to imagine it for effect here-THUMP- with a little cloud of dust rising up) another one of us fell sick. Not just sick. Terribly sick. Crying, whining, whimpering, shaking your foot kind of sick. And that was me! (Let's face it, if it was my husband he might have just stubbed his toe or something-love you honey!) Strep. But it was weird strep. My son only had a sore throat for one night and missed one day of school. My husband ended up with a throat abscess. I was in bed for three days-again, amazing since I go batty just lying there- and had an ear infection as well. And my poor baby girl ended up with Scarlet Fever and an infection behind her ears. My house is terrifying right now. We are all afraid to be next...even though we should all be done. Which is my really long-winded excuse for why this newsletter is late and I apologize for it being so!

It is okay, though, I have still managed to wrangle up some fun activities and articles to keep you busy while we finish recuperating over here! Have a great week!
