Nursery rhymes, songs, and the simplest of stories build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Read. Imagine. Share. Explore. 3-5 years old with adult. The Center for Hearing Speech and Language will provide an environment that will give parents and children the opportunity to practice pre-literacy skills. These classes are especially suited for English as a Second Language Learners. Parent class themes include: Expressing Needs and Feelings, Establishing Independence, Understanding What Families Value, Sharing and Cooperating, and Self-Possibilities.
