Welcome to Aurora Macaroni Kid!

A letter from the Publisher

I hope that your Mother's Day was just as perfect as mine. My husband unfortunately couldn't be with us, so I spent some time with my dad and then my kids "took" me out to dinner at Mt. Fuji. We have been to Hibachi before, so I was suprised at the sheer terror in my daughter when she first saw the fire on the other table. She literally got up and tried to run out of the restaurant. Tie your balloon and cut the (non-tied) end.

Your shooter will look like this:

Place the marshmallow or ...

Step 1: Bake the cake as directed using a bread loaf pan.  You will not use all of the cake mix!  Pour batter into pan so that it is about 1.5 inches deep.   Baking the cake in a bread loaf pan makes it very easy to shave it down to match the size of the ice cream layer.  Let cake cool for 10 minutes then remove from pan and ...

Macaroni Movie Reviews

What to Expect When You're Expecting

With my first pregnancy, I was definitely a faithful reader of "What to Expect When You're Expecting". I followed each month, the pages were dog-eared from my researching, and many pages had highlights on them. I never actually wrote a birthing plan or anything like that, but I did have it set in my head how I wanted it to go. Four hours into HARD labor, I started crying and saying I just couldn't do it anymore. Soon after, I was told we would be having a c-section ...
